How we can run two concurrent mysql server on same machine.
Actually, This problem comes when you have problem with webhosting company, and mostly provide old version of mysql 3.2.3 or mysql 4.0 or mysql 4.1 version. But at development end we use higher version. This needs to have run two mysql server on same machine to test and development.

Yes this is possible.

1. Change port to 3307 or any other than 3306 for second installation

2. Windows service
when mysql installation begin it install and make entry in window registry. We need to choose different window service name for entry in register when MySQLInstanceConfig.exe running, Can choose mysql501 or mysql401 like name.
