In mysql password function have different bits of encryption. This result in generating password string bigger and small. If we using windows mysql server version it uses new password function with 41 bytes, and linux default use old password with 16 bytes long string
When we use windows backup restore at linux server or machine it dont work. Password dont match. We can do one thing we can change default password of mysql linux to new password function by enabling in /etc/my.cnf in file.
# Default to using old password format for compatibility with mysql 3.x
# clients (those using the mysqlclient10 compatibility package).
