OK dear
uninstallation of tomcat on linux need 2 steps

First search tomcat RPM on linux
for it you have to do this command to search tomcat on linux is installed or not.

rpm –qa | grep –i tomcat

It will show tomcat if that is installed on linux machine.
tomcat-5.1.2 something like that

then copy this full tomcat rpm and again run this command to uninstall tomcat from linux machine

rpm -e tomcat-5.1.2

This will remove tomcat from linux machine
